Impulse Capsule · capture flow redesign · batch 7

Flow B · where first

Tradeoff: one question per screen — nothing ever competes for the eye, and each answer is confirmed before the next is asked. The cost is a fourth step and two extra taps: the where screen and the price screen each look bare, because neither can lean on the other for context.

1 ·NAME IT

Only the mic, the title and the OS keyboard — nothing else is on screen.

2 ·WHERE

Location on its own screen, answered with one tap.

3 ·PRICE IT

Amount and keypad, then the lock.

4 ·WHY

After LOCK IT. Idle for 5s with no typing and the screen closes itself.

5 ·HISTORY

It lands on History by itself, the new capsule at the top of the list.

Shared by every flow: screen 1 (name), WHY and HISTORY are identical in all three variants — the only thing that moves is where location lives. The Android/iOS keyboard is the real one: it is what covers the app's keypad while you name the capsule.
